This ex-designer fabric is a faux fur. It's a knit jersey on the reverse with long, black imitation-fur hairs, about 6cm long, on the topside. It's such a statement cloth! So smooth and soft, with a sateen sheen. Mid to heavyweight, with a nice thick pile that's so warm and cozy. It's perfect for bold coats or even cushions!
